Painless Childbirth
Did you know there is no scientific reason why childbirth has to be painful? You may say yea right, you haven't heard the horror stories that I have. Let's take a look at why so many women have had such a terrible time with childbirth. Lets think back, as a little girl your mother and her friends are talking about their experience in childbirth, you may hear your mother say," I was in labor for nine hours, then you'd hear her friend say, "That's nothing, I was in labor for 19 hours, and a third friend says," Oh my Gosh, I was in labor for 36 hours and it was the most horrible painful time of my life!" I told my husband, " I would never go through that again!" Then you grow up, get married and one day you go to the doctor and he tells you the wonderful news, You're pregnant!
You're so excited to hear this wonderful news and then, you start to remember all the horror stories from your childhood days. "Oh my, now I'm getting scared. How will I handle all the pain!?" Then you start learning all the negative words that are associated with birthing. Such as the labor room, now what do we think of the word labor? Hard work, perhaps painful and uncomfortable, and let's not forget the wonderful words labor pain. You've been told a nurse will come in and keep asking how much pain your in, as if you're expected to have a lot of it. And I can go on and on but I think you get the picture.
Painless childbirth through hypnotherapy can train you to go into a deep state of relaxation, you will be trained to eliminate the negative words associated with childbirth such as, labor room, we call it birthing room, and the terrible labor pain, we call contractions, and the word pain we change to discomfort. We train you to go into a deep state of relaxation where a natural anesthesia will occur. We teach you the proper way to calmly breath and release tension. What causes tension? The fear of pain, this is why contractions are so painful for so many women, with tension your muscles tighten and as your child tries to move down the birth canal he/she is fighting all this tension and constriction.
As the baby fights pushing the head through the birth canal expanding it, this becomes a very painful experience. Now if the mother is relaxed the birth canal will open and received that baby without trauma. The baby comes into his/her life without trauma or pain, the mother experiences a wonderful birthing. No drugs No side effects for the mother or the child. Another benefit of using hypnosis for childbirth is, hypnosis birthing is much quicker, you can dilate yourself and there is little to no tearing.
